To be honest, I wasn't sure where to start this letter. But I am confident in my ability to communicate effectively with you.
My name is Liubovi, and I was born in the Ukrainian city of Kherson. I have lived there with my family all my life, but because of the conflict with Russia, I had to leave. It was a frightening experience to hear bombs explode and see my neighbors' houses destroyed. I gathered only the necessary documents and things and fled the country. Now I am safe in Moldova, where my father's relatives live, and they helped me settle here.
I am so grateful to be alive and well!
The idea of meeting someone online had never occurred to me until recently. I was having tea with a friend when she suggested it. She met her husband from Bulgaria on a dating site, and now they are happily married. It's inspiring that you can find your love online, and that's what motivated me to reach out to you.
