My name is Diana, and I was born in the beautiful city of Kherson, Ukraine. I've lived there with my family all my life, but our world turned upside down when Russia attacked and started bombing our cities. The sounds of exploding bombs filled me with fear, and that's when I realized that I had to leave my beloved home.
Taking only a few things and important documents with me, I fled my country and now live in Moldova. It is here that I feel safe and lucky to be alive and well. My father was a citizen of this country, and I was blessed that his relatives helped me take this step in light of the war currently raging in my homeland.
As I sit and write to you, I remember that fateful day when my friend and I enjoyed a cup of tea at our favorite cafe. She shared with me the growing trend of meeting people online and how it brought so much happiness into her own life. She met her beloved husband on a dating site, and he is originally from Bulgaria. Watching them make love gave me hope and inspiration that love can be found in unexpected places.
I want you to know that my heart is open to the idea of getting to know you better. I may not have much experience in online dating, but I believe that our bond can grow stronger every day. I am looking forward to your reply and hope that you will tell me more about yourself and your country.
