Soll ich mit ihr weiterschreiben oder soll ich´s besser lassen? (speziell nach der letzten Mail) Brief 1: Good day, xxxxx! My name is Sofia. I'm from Ukraine, Krasniy Luch. I hope you
remember me, we had a chat in dating site and you gave me this e-mail
address. I'm not skillful in typing so this type of communication is
more suitable for me than chatting. I'm glad to start this
correspondence with you and I hope it will lead to good relations
between us.
Let me introduce myself and the way of my living, my family and my
city. I'm 28 years old and my birthday is third of August. I live in
city Krasnyy Luch which is translated into English as Red Beam. The
city got its name from one legend. It says that when miners raised to
the top from mine in the morning they saw unusual sunrise with "red
beams". The city is not too far from Russian border though it's
situated on the west of Lugansk region.
I'm still living in my parents' house though I want to relocate
so much at least to my own flat or house. I used to live separately
from my parents when I had quite serious relationships with my
ex-boyfriend. We lived together about ten months but he treated me bad
and when we reached the point of no return I decided to leave him.
Fortunately we didn't have children.
My father passed away three years ago and that wasn't premature death
because he abused alcohol and that ruined him. Being sober he was a
good industrious man but when drunk he became completely different,
angry and reckless.
My mother works as an accountant at the mine. And I work as a
hairdresser and I've been working at this position for 8 years.
I learnt English in school and in vocational school but I can't say
that it helped me somehow. So I have to visit agency of translations
to write to you. No, I write by myself, the letter is just translated.
I have computer at home but don't have Internet as I live on the
outskirts and Internet providers don't reach here.
In order not to bore you I'll finish this letter here and write more
details about me in next letter, of course, if you are interested in
further communication.
With warm regards.
Sofia
Brief 2: Hi, xxxxx! How do you feel today? I feel myself good as I have found a
letter from you. This is the first time when I communicate with a
foreigner and I'm glad you showed an interest in me.
As I remember I didn't tell anything about things I like in life. Must
say I'm very many-sided person and I'm interested in many things. I
like beautiful cars and motorcycles and sometimes I watch Formula 1 by
TV. My favorite racer is of course Michael Schumacher who fortunately
comes back in competition to Mercedes. But I still support Ferrari
team.
I also like playing chess and sometimes I play with my grandfather who
implanted me love for this game. And sometimes my cousin is my rival.
In school I attended hobby group by chess.
Also I love to solve crosswords and what we call "Japanese
crosswords".
I love beaches, sea shores (though I live not close to the sea), green
landscapes of my native land, especially in spring when hills and
plains are covered with early grass and snowdrops.
As to my character. I'm easy-going person. Even if I have bad mood I
don't show it in public and don't spoil mood of other people. I'm
tolerant to other man's views and very patient so it's hard to make me
angry or upset.
There are some features which I value the most in man. They are
responsiveness, endearments, consideration, loyalty, tidiness and
striving for self-perfection. It's a must. So exactly this type of man
I'm looking for.
And of course he must love children as I love children and I plan to
have my own in future.
And how must look your ideal woman? Are you very choosy in anything?
Do you like to go in the nature?
I think I'll stop here and will wait impatiently for another letter
from you.
Take care
Sofia
Brief 3: Hello, xxxxx! Glad to hear from you again! And I'm twice glad that you
write to me because many men don't like communicate through e-mails.
And I can't afford myself communicating through Skype or other
messengers as I don't have much time for spending it in cyber cafe.
I want to talk to you today about relations between man and woman. How
do you see these relations? I belive that being married wife and
husband must break all the stereotypes about family life I mean wife
as a device for cooking, washing and cleaning the house and man as a
working and money-making machine. I think that duties should be equal
and wife and husband should help each other in everything (as it is
said in a vow while getting married in church).
Do you belive in a friendship between man and woman? Many consider it
impossible but I don't think so. Maybe it's impossible only if woman
(man) has only one friend of opposite sex. In that case there will be
some affection between them. But personally I have a lot of friends
males whom with I would never have some close relationships, that's
even impossible to imagine. We know each other many years and no one
of them are a pretender to being a boyfriend or even husband.
I dream about travelling to different countries. Especially I want to
visit such countries which are little spoken about such as Belize,
Guyana, Bhutan, Brunei, San-Marino, Tanzania, Nauru etc. That seems to
me so exotic! Unfortunately I don't have opportunity to travel. Maybe
soon I'll have at least a little trip. I've been invited by my sister
cousin to go to her next year in spring to Rostov-na-Donu city
which is in Russia, not very far from my city.
Lately I've become a fan of series "Lie to me" which was started to
show by one of Ukrainian TV-channels. Have you watched it? That's
incredible film! And Tim Roth became my favorite actor after that.
What is yours?
OK, let me hear from you again soon! Bye
Sofia
